These pass tokens had to be worn around the neck by native Namibians as from 1904 - 1915 during the German Colonial times. 

Every specific pass token was numbered and had a Bezirk or town stamped on. 

After the World War 1, the British replaced this system.

Passmarken von DSWA

Diese Passmarken mussten von 1904 bis 1915 während der deutschen Kolonialzeit von den einheimischen Namibiern um den Hals getragen werden. 

Jede einzelne Passmarke war nummeriert und mit einem Bezirk oder einer Stadt gestempelt. 

Nach dem Ersten Weltkrieg ersetzten die Briten dieses System.

Ces jetons devaient être portés autour du cou par les Namibiens de souche entre 1904 et 1915, pendant la période coloniale allemande.

Chaque jeton était numéroté et portait le cachet d'un Bezirk (district) ou d'une ville.
