DSWA Foto - Erstes Hospital Swakopmund -  Das Prinzessin-Rupprecht-Heim ist ein im Jugendstil errichtetes Baudenkmal im namibischen Seebad Swakopmund und ein Nationales Denkmal in Namibia. Es wurde in den Jahren 1901 bis 1902 als Lazarett für die damalige Schutztruppen in Deutsch-Südwestafrika errichtet, wurde aber mit Beginn des Ersten Weltkrieges umgebaut und erhielt infolgedessen seinen noch heutigen Namen zu Ehren von Marie Gabrielle, der Frau des Prinzen Rupprecht von Bayern.Prinzessin Rupprecht Heim.

GSWA Photo - First Hospital Swakopmund - The Princess Rupprecht Home is an Art Nouveau monument in the Namibian seaside resort of Swakopmund and a national monument in Namibia. It was built between 1901 and 1902 as a military hospital for the then Schutztruppen in German South West Africa, but was rebuilt at the beginning of the First World War and was consequently given its present name in honour of Marie Gabrielle, the wife of Prince Rupprecht of Bavaria, the Princess Rupprecht Home.

DSWA Foto - Premier hôpital de Swakopmund - Le Princess-Rupprecht-Heim est un monument historique de style Art nouveau situé dans la station balnéaire namibienne de Swakopmund et un monument national en Namibie. Il a été construit dans les années 1901-1902 comme hôpital militaire pour les troupes de protection en Afrique du Sud-Ouest allemande, mais a été transformé au début de la Première Guerre mondiale et a reçu son nom actuel en l'honneur de Marie Gabrielle, l'épouse du prince Rupprecht de Bavière.
