Token 1 - DSWA - German South West Africa – 1 Mark Military Token of the 3rd Company, Keetmanshoop/Kanus, c. 1900–1914

Original brass Wertmarke of the 3. Kompagnie of the German Imperial Schutztruppe in Deutsch-Südwestafrika. 

The 3rd Company was associated with Kanus in the southern district of the colony, under the military administration centred at Keetmanshoop. The token bears “3. KOMPAGNIE” with a star on one side and “1 MARK” on the other. No date. Brass, approximately 25.6 mm, weight 4.2g.
